Police Search for Escaped Convict from Kent Prison
Authorities are actively seeking Michael Dunn, a 53-year-old convicted robber who escaped from HMP Standford Hill, an open prison located on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent. Dunn absconded around 8:55 am on Saturday, according to Kent Police, and was sentenced to over six years in September 2023 for robbery-related charges in Maidstone.

At the time of his escape, Dunn was reportedly dressed in a grey hoodie, dark trousers, and black footwear, complemented by a black hat and scarf. Data from the Ministry of Justice reveals that there were 57 absconds in the year ending March 2025, with 15 of those individuals still unaccounted for after 30 days.
