A 22-year-old man has pleaded guilty to causing the death of a father in Oban, Argyll and Bute, by pushing him into the trajectory of an ambulance. The victim, Robert Bromell, aged 39, succumbed to his injuries following the incident that occurred on September 6, 2023.

The tragic event took place in the early hours at Corran Esplanade on the A85, where Mr. Bromell was struck by the emergency vehicle. He was immediately transported to hospital with serious injuries but passed away the next day.
