A man has been handed a six-month driving ban following an incident on the A12 involving his McLaren supercar and a motorhome. The crash, which occurred on 12 November 2023, resulted in minor injuries for those involved and led to the closure of this major roadway.

Oliver Strickland-Miller, a 41-year-old resident of Ringshall in Suffolk, lost control of his McLaren 720S, a high-performance vehicle known for its ability to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 2.8 seconds. The collision took place near Lower Hacheston, with the 720S suffering significant damage and the motorhome ending up on its side, creating considerable debris across the road.
