Chancellor Reappoints David Roberts as Chair of Bank of England Court
David Roberts has been reappointed as Chair of the Court of the Bank of England, with his second four-year term starting on 24 October 2026. Dame Anne Glover, another reappointee, brings over three decades of experience in venture capitalism and has been influential in both business and engineering fields. She is the Chief Executive and Co-Founder of Amadeus Capital Partners and has held esteemed positions in various organisations.
Diana Noble serves as the Deputy Chair of the Court and chairs the Remuneration Committee. With a strong background in development finance, she previously led the UK’s development finance institution and has experience in venture capital and international development.
