Peter Kay Announces Charitable Stand-Up Tour for Cancer Awareness
Comedian Peter Kay has revealed that the entirety of the profits from his upcoming 2026 stand-up tour will be donated to twelve cancer charities. The “Better Late Than Never” tour is set to commence in December and will conclude with a show at the AO Arena in Manchester in August 2026.

During an appearance on the One Show, the 52-year-old Bolton native emphasised the significance of the initiative, noting that many people in the UK have been touched by the effects of cancer. “Unfortunately, everybody knows someone who’s been affected,” he said. He encouraged audiences to come to the shows, highlighting that the purpose goes beyond entertainment: “You don’t even have to like me to come.” Kay added a humorous note, assuring attendees, “if it’s not funny, you’ll get your money back.”
