Sky News has garnered nine nominations for the prestigious Royal Television Society (RTS) TV journalism awards, bolstering its reputation as a leading news outlet in the UK. Among the accolades, the channel is in contention for the highly sought-after title of news channel of the year.

A host of Sky News journalists have been acknowledged for their exemplary contributions to journalism. Notably, Yalda Hakim, who hosts the international news programme The World With Yalda Hakim, is shortlisted for the network presenter of the year award.
Additionally, Alex Crawford, a special correspondent, and Yousra Elbagir, the Africa correspondent, have secured two of the three nominations in the network television journalist of the year category.
